Carole Lombard's Salisbury Meatballs

1 1/2 pounds ground round
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 yellow onions, chopped fine
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, chopped fine
1 can (10.75-ounce) tomato soup
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 cup water

Roll the meat into little balls. Brown in hot olive oil. Add vegetables and saute until soft.

Add soup, chili sauce, and water. Simmer until meatballs are cooked through and sauce thickens.
